Worth waiting for Black Friday deals?

My contract with plusnet is coming to an end on the 17th November, service has been superb but their renewal offer on this occasion isn't great, and more importantly is the 3.9% +CPI increase that will be kicking in next March.

Was looking at moving to NOW at a cost of £23 a month, with potential - long awaited -cashback offer. But is it worth holding out for a few more weeks for better black Friday offers, it would mean staying with plusnet beyond my contract at twice what I'm paying for short period. Unsure if it's worth the cost and hassle.

Pretty much all providers at the budget end of the market include a CPI rise, so unless you're prepared to pay more from the outset, I wouldn't give it much weight in your deliberations.  Now don't have an automatic rise but they will reserve the right to change prices at any time.

Call their "Customer Options Team" about a week before your contract ends and see if they will match the NOW offer.
I've managed to negotiate a new deal a number of times after calling them.

Yes, will give that a go but can't see them matching NOW's price at the moment. Especially when you take into account increase that will come in March.
