Hope everyone had a lovely Easter. Unfortunately, I've had ear, nose, throat and eye infections so have been feeling quite poorly. On the mend now though, thank goodness.
Another £10 in the pot. Have a lovely weekend.SPC 16 - #09 Totals: 2014 - £264.51 2015 - £207.50 2016 - £396.79 2017 - £369.49 2018 - £484.24 2019 - £309.90 2020 -£282.06 2021- £1839.89 2022 -£1627.834 -
Saver-upper said:Tonight i have just potted a £2 coin. How rare are they these days???
In the years I have been doing this challenge,I have always had a separate pot for £2 coins, which i never spend.
I think for this year's challenge, that was only my second £2 coin into itSame! I've always just saved them, never ever spend them unless I'm desperately short of anything else. I have got quite a few in the pot, but unless my mum gives me one/some when she owes me any money, they're very few and far between these days!! Still have my separate pot for them though. And on that note, thanks to my mum, I've potted one todaySPCNo.18 #20 (17 £562.86 16 £678; 15 £1120.92; 14 £416.53; 13 £191.52; 12 £260.48; 11 £480.95; 10 £682.31; 9 £442.64)

Hi all.
I've been chucking silver coins in my copper saving tin the past couple of week since I had to open the silver coin tin to get in front with council tax. It's pretty full now and I will probably need another tin lol.

Been awol fir a couple of weeks but have been potting away the shrapnel I find in my purse. I seem to have had quite a run on £2 coins. My wee Dusty Bin is getting heavy with them. Also been clearing out and selling stuff on ebay and marketplace, so all of that has gone into the pot too

Have just potted a £5 note, the change I got from treating myself to tea and cake this afternoon
I also potted a 5p coin I found on supermarket floor tonight.
Forgot completely to pot the £2 coin I got in my change, and am now comfortably tucked up in bed, so will have to do that another day
