Work it out yourself. I could tell you in about 5 minutes what my gas cost has been since the last bill, it ain't rocket science as they say.
edit: £77.29, there you go. And that included reading my meter, downloading the CV values from NG and working out the average and calculating the bill.
Also decided to create a spreadsheet and keep my own numbers for the next 6 months like we used to in 1950s. Great customer service0 -
Well we, like most people, pay monthly anyway. Just not got a clue what we should be paying[Deleted User] said:The opposite of the posts that we have been seeing recently with people saying "why is my supplier billing me monthly now and not quarterly, I don't want to pay so often as that!"0 -
Yeap. Also created my own tally sheet like we did in the 1950s👍inspectorperez said:Yes I have EDF as my supplier for 2 properties, one of which is Dual Fuel and the other is Economy 7. Neither property has smart meters.Billing is every six months and I work out costs each month in a simple spreadsheet to ensure monthly DD's are on track.I have no desire to have smart meters installed and will only consider changing that view if I see a tangible financial benefit for myself.0 -

I'm sure I did when I was with EDF last year.If you want monthly bills, the only way I found to get them out of EDF was by switching to exact monthly DD.N. Hampshire, he/him. I'm in a similar position with EDF. I've told them over the phone and via their website , that there is no point to fitting a "smart" gas meter until I have a "smart" electricity meter fitted .rothesy said:Hi. I look after three accounts with EDF, they got moved there when ZOG Energy closed. I have been getting bombarded with text messages and emails from EDF telling me to get smart gas meters installed. I was tired of it so agreed. I really don't see the point as like you said they only want two readings each year. I just want them off my back.
I've finally got a date from BG to fit that - but in view of BG's general performance I'm not holding my breath re the arrival of the fitter on the appointed day !!1
