I think they do that because other places do - in somerfield for example, they are 77p with 3 for £2 which is an OK saving. Now Tesco have cheaper individual prices, but if they left out this offer then they would be more expensive than Somerfield, so on goes the offer.

It must be the same with the beer...........what an odd world we live in....

Tesco reduction

Posted a while ago about the pathetic reduction at Tesco of a Microwave. If I remember correctly it was that weeks special on line deal. Glad to see they have maintained their lower price!

What I find most annoying in all supermarkets, but I find Tesco's is worse culprit, is price reduction on small packs which make it cheaper to buy 2 small packs rather than 1 big pack. I deplore the waste in packaging (as we all should :rolleyes: ) and think they should offer the larger packs at the same discounted price.
