Tesco's most pathetic reduction

I saw a sign in Tesco last night that had me in stitches
Carlsberg Was £10, now £9.98, save 2p :j
I am not kidding. It's the first time I have wished I had a camera phone. I would have posted it here, and sent it to Jonathon Maitland (Tonight show). Elsewhere they had signs saying 'special promotion' for the same deal.
Has anyone seen a more pathetic reduction?

Ah, but that is 1p/99p = 0.01 = ~1% reduction
Mine was 2p/1000p = 0.002 = 0.2% reduction
they could have put 'SAVE 0.2%'!0 -
I saw the Carlsberg offer and just stood there and looked bemused at it for a while. Thought I'd forgotten how to read!0

in tesco a while ago the Entemanns cheescake (cant find it now) was £2.99 now £2.98 special offer/reduced signs, thought i was going mad too!!Ready to Go Go!0

Think how much it costs to print up all the reduced signs and stickers.....no wonder we are running out of rainforest. What a waste!0

My other half likes Miller beer so I was pleased when I saw that on promotion in Tesco. When I read the small print, you saved 6p by buying 2 x 4 packs of cans.
They also have a long term price offer of £2 for 3 x 1L cartons of fruit juice from the chiller. That also saves around 6p, but I still buy them as we get through gallons of juice! Here I go again on my own....0 -
No advances on 0.2% though, anyone?0

My mother-in-law inadvertantly priced some of our plants at £1.50 each and 3 for £5.00, surprisingly some people still bought the 3's.(I did correct it later though)I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
