Your home cooked food is likely to be quicker (given what you are cooking), tastier, healthier and cheaper... the only downside is the washing up.

Just hope you aren't thinking of putting any cream in that carbonara!
Isn’t that what children are for?
Dont have kids and for some reason people dont seem to like it when you take spare ones off the street

Not much use to you now, but what I've started doing is keeping tins of soup, rice pots and other very quick cook items in the cupboard. That way I'm eating something warm within a few minutes and can worry about washing up in the morning.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.
  • @DullGreyGuy I’ve got several am sure I could spare you one

I did it, kids it including greens plus salad, I then fell asleep but woke up enough to wash up now in bed feeling wide awake

  • I need to ask you all for motivation more often!

Looks good and no cream in sight!

See that what people say and then they want them back... somewhat ironically I was adopted, arranged before I was born, and after tracing my birth mother myself I was told it couldn't possibly be the case as private adoptions had stopped before then... unfortunately certainly not allowed now.
  • It's helping

My veg bag has just arrived so I've that to put away first and no idea what state the 3 teems will have left the kitchen in for me - if it's clear it's fine if it's not then depends how much tidying/cleaning I need to do first

    Teens?
You should be kicking THEM up the bum if they're not clearing up after themselves.
  • Hope it tasted as great as it looks on the photo - not every meal is a community effort after all...

I was no use in providing motivation having decided to treat us to a takeaway following a day of decorating. First one we've had for months, we picked it up a minute's drive from home and it was lovely.

    Your dinner looked scrummy.

  • Agree with that. My god that takeaway’s 3 hours wages!

Also works with calories. My god that chocolate bar’s a 40 minute sprint!
I removed the shell from my racing snail, but now it's more sluggish than ever.
