To get the mse new customer offer you will need to order a new sim with a different email address. My understanding is that you can never use an email address you have used before, even years after the sim has ended.2

Just to update this ...savergrant said:To get the mse new customer offer you will need to order a new sim with a different email address. My understanding is that you can never use an email address you have used before, even years after the sim has ended.I went on the MSE page and pressed 'get the deal', followed it through, entered my email address and it said I was already a customer - "please log in to continue", so I did. "would you like to pay with your linked card?" so I said 'yes' and it all went through and I've had the confirmation email.Fingers crossed for no further issues!0

J_B I see you have opted for the 3gb 99p/£4.40 deal. It was the 15gb 99p/£7.90 deal I was looking at.
I hope I am wrong, but I have a feeling others have been in the same position as you, with confirmation of the new customer rate because they have clicked through via the new customer link, but then Lebara charge the existing customer rate when they realise you are not a new customer. Keep an eye on your MyLebara dashboard or app to see what payments are taken.
But maybe I am confused, it has been known !1
