I would try to put it on the front if you can.  There was a thread some time ago about Canada rejecting parcels where the customs declaration was not on the front of a parcel.  Other countries could be equally fussy.

Oh there's one for me to watch out for!!  I've never had a parcel rejected going to Canada but have, I think, normally put the info on the front, not the back.  I suspect rejection is due to the computer not being able to read it all easily.  I know that Canada Post is dreadfully fussy about all sorts of things - like always needing a full and correct post code.  If you use the one for the wrong side of the street - which is likely to be just the final digit wrong - then it's unlikely to get delivered correctly unless you have an absolutely marvel of a regular postie.  (so generally fine in the countryside but not in the city)

Hi, I just think if it fits, then yes you should put it on the front. If not, you could put it on the side or the back. What else can you do? If it doesn't fit then you have to put it elsewhere.

I often send parcels to my friends in Canada and just put a short note on the front if the customs label doesn't fit saying 'please see back for customs form'. Never had any problems.

I also recently sent some documents to a relative in Thailand and had to complete a customs form just to say it was documents of no value. That label had to go on the back because there wasn't room on the front. No problems with that either.
