in my view there is no point trying to sue anyvan because all they are are broker or agent in other words you ask them to find you a van and they did that so there was nothing to sue them for - they did exactly what you asked for
the person you have the problem with is the removal company itself1 -
I was unhappy with the man I was allocated and didn't trust using any other recommended as the first one couldn't supply his insurance and had judgements due to driving without road tax in Ireland! My bank managed to get my deposit back after they refused a refund. Banks are very helpful sometimes.1

glad you had a successful result but don't forget your bank getting the money back does not mean you do not owe anyvan anything
You still owe anyvan the money and they could still come after you for payment - anyvan have a chance to be challenge the refund and you could well find it reversed in a few weeks0 -

Took me more than 4 months to get a partial refund from Anyvan, after having gone through their complaints process and then raising a chargeback.
Just putting this here as this thread came up on page 1 on Google when searching for Anyvan related issues so hopefully it'll point someone else towards going down the chargeback/S75 route like it did me.I am a Mortgage Adviser - You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. The only way to find a removal company is word of mouth not some random post from a newbie2 -
