Best broadband & SIM only deal to choose?

I've recently bought my first home in the countryside. It therefore has poor signal where I live (Virtually no 4G mobile data).
I'm a moneysaver and not a spender.
I initially chose a 15GB SIM only for £8 a month.
I also chose a 36mpbs broadband for £20 a month with the same provider. However since i chose the SIM only deal with them too, they're knocking £3 a month off my broadband meaning I'm paying £17 a month.
I don't use much SIM data and don't need fast internet so basically I'm just looking for the cheapest SIM only I can get that has 8GB of data or more. I also don't need fast internet so basically the lowest priced internet for anywhere around 36mpbs.
The broadband is getting installed on 6th November. When I first ordered the broadband it was going to get installed middle of the month however the engineer cancelled my instillation date without me knowing which irritated me. I got told to reorder which I did so the broadband was going to be delivered towards the end of October, however there was another problem and it was cancelled and I reordered. The third time I ordered I got the installation date of 6th November.
I ordered the broadband using Topcashback which is meant to give me £90 cashback. However this isn't showing on Topcashback and when I questioned them over it, they said to wait until the broadband has been installed then they'll give the £90 to me. However on TCB it's only showing my orders for the first and second instillation date, not the third. So I'm worried the cashback won't be given, however after having the product cancelled a few times and instillation pushed back several times, I don't want to reorder again. So I'm really hoping they do honour it but I don't have my hopes up. This is all with Vodafone.
Also remember that where I live, I have no phone signal so I need wifi urgently to access the internet. Fortunately, I've got incredibly kind neighbours so since I moved into the house at the start of October, I've been using my neighbour's broadband since then (although this only works if I'm in my house on the right hand side as it contains a semi detached wall to their house).
I've just seen the below broadband deal on the MSE website and considering changing. What do you think:

New. Virgin Media MSE Blagged - 213Mb fibre & line '£18.40/month' 18-month contract Only available to 55% of homes - you're told if yours qualifies when applying. I'm in an area that qualifies for this deal. Do you think I should get it? | Cheapest 200Mb deal we've ever seen. Apply via this Virgin 213Mb link and you pay £23.95/month, but get an automatic £100 bill credit added to your first bill (so there's nowt to pay for four months, unless you make calls). Factor that in and it's £18.40/month over the 18-month contract. We've only ever seen it this cheap twice before. https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/latesttip/#broadband |

Just be aware that as you don't have a mobile signal you need to choose a mobile network with WiFi calling (and have a compatible phone). Lebara is quite cheap and their wifi calling works on my Samsung galaxy s10. This will let you make and receive calls and texts on your mobile phone via the internet.
You can also sometimes get cashback via Quidco or Topcashback with Uswitch.
