Well the cough & cold lurgy felt worse today, aching all over etc. So I did a covid test...guess what? Positive! The only people I've seen is DD & family, so think DGS3 who was coughing loads, must have been carrying it, he didn't feel ill, just coughed a lot. Aah well, not much I can do except rest & recover.
Hope everyone else stays safeMaking the debt go down and savings go up

I completely understand about not wanting to use your buffer pot despite a buffer pot being for use when needed 🤷♀️. I struggle to use my savings pots for the intended purpose even though that's what they are there for.
I think that having been a spender not a saver I've now reversed and like saving and not spending. I'm still surprised that has happened to me but grateful that it has and that the change has enabled me to take early retirement.4 -
Oh no, sorry to hear you have the dreaded C! Hopefully lots of rest and painkillers and you'll be feeling better soon.Live the good life where you have been planted.

Thanks for all the kind comments. DH has it now as well. Both feeling like a double dose of flu, no energy, achey & cough & cold People who say its just like a mild cold, must clearly be fitter than me.
At least we will start 2024 feeling 1 day better. Onwards & upwards from here.
Hope you all have a good celebration. We will be in bed by about 9 ..lol Doubt there will be many fireworks in this awful weather

Oh no what a pair you are 🙁 I think it affects everyone differently, most likely nothing to do with how fit you are. I won’t be seeing in the new year just because I get up so early and I’m not bothered to be honest. I hope you both feel better soon.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3
