Looking to insure a listed thatch cottage

I’m in the process of buying a cottage built around 1600 which needs specialist insurance and I wanted to ask if anyone on the forum knows of a good insurer or broker? This is new insurance territory for me and I know it will cost a lot more than standard buildings insurance but I’m hoping folks here can offer some suggestions so that I’m not working completely blind! TIA

Broker may be best, family had NFU mutual for several years and they were very good with paying out on a listed thatched cottage but reinsured somewhere else before selling (cannot remember where) for far less than the NFU renewal price1
