Transferred opening £1 deposit @ 14:00.
I presume it won’t register as being in the account until Monday now.0 -
Hi ,i applied for a 5 yr fixed rate bond with Gatehouse on monday. And then an easy access account yesterday. But after opening the easy access account theyve asked me to send proof of identity and residence through the post. Is this usually the case with Gatehouse? I dont mind if thats whats needed although a bit inconvenient. For the fixed rate bond i have my user ID from them and when i use their online banking both accounts , fixed rate & easy access, are set up. I could just ring them to ask if they really need my proof of id?0

Have had several accounts with Gatehouse, and 3 currently (3 yr ISA, Easy Access and 95 day notice. Have always been very satisfied with them. Speed of transfer to / from easy access account is not an issue for me as I keep a 'float' in Nationwide FlexInstant account so that I can instantly top up my Nationwide current account when required. I would recommend Gathehouse as rates are usually near the top and customer service, in my experience, is excellent.0

With Gatehouse can you transfer money online from the Easy Access account to fund a fixed rate account?
I am not seeing the option to do so.0 -
