Gatehouse ?

Opened Kent Reliance 1 year fix last week to grab the rate in case of a drop.
Just reaching the end of the funding window and I need to get some of my instant access into a 1 year fix.
Considering opening Gatehouse instead, as its slightly better rate and also hopefully get another funding window .... just in case any rates go the other way in the next week...!!
1. I have no experience of Gatehouse but dont recall much (any....?) adverse comment here. Are they OK in terms of account opening etc. - don't expect to need much in the way of customer service as it's a 1 year fix......
2. Can anyone who's opened the account confirm if there is a funding window and if so, what it is ?
Thanks as always.....

Sorry to bump this but now have a further question, as their easy access is now ToTP.How quickly are transfers in/out to Gatehouse?I use my present EA account to 'top up' my current account, (or to deposit anything above £0 from it...,) sometimes more than once a day, so need something that is near-instant (or at the very least same-day....) like most of the banks using faster payments. As usual any replies gratefully received ....(@t1redmonkey... I think you said you had one.....?)0

They're a tad on the slow side with both payments in and out. If you make a payment at say 9am, generally you won't see it at the receiving account until around 5pm. It's a similar situation with inbound deposits. I'm unsure about weekends.1

Thats a great help.... thank you - same day is just about OK and for such a good rate I can adjust for weekends.....can anyone else share experiences - for example, the situation quoted above was for a payment/deposit circa 9 AM - is anything actioned later in the day likely to take until next working day?0

My one year fix has just come to an end. I've been impressed with them and will renew. I did pay some extra money into my instant access saver at about 9 am but it hasn't appeared in my account yet. According to their website deposits made before 1 pm will appear the same working day.1
