Moorside Legal's letter in September was a letter from a solicitor.Selby5804 said:I received a letter from Moorside legal in September this year.
This refers to an incident that happened on the 23/12/2021 can you believe.
Now after reading your post about Joseph Ray road e11, i ignored it. Your post said to wait until you receive a letter from a solicitor then act upon it.
Defending the claim will be easy but start your own thread with a picture of the claim form (redacted of the same 4 things you see people redact in all the other hundreds of claim threads here).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks for your help, everyone. I received a letter from Moorside Legal over the weekend, dated 24th November 2025. The original PCN was issued on 23rd July 2022, and I’m assuming this solicitor’s letter from Parking Control Management (UK) Ltd relates to that same PCN, as the amount (£170) is identical. However, the letter contains no reference to the original PCN number, which makes it difficult to confirm.
What should my next steps be? I’d really appreciate your guidance on how to proceed.

The NEWBIES FAQ Announcement, post number TWO, provides you with the response you should make to a formal Letter Of/Before Claim. We are seeing a number of Moorside-fronted claims over the past few months, but no real evidence of much in terms of court hearings/outcomes.Do a forum search on ‘Moorside Legal’ (selecting ‘Newest’, not ‘Best Match’) and read some of the more recent cases. You’ll have a better idea on how things progress with this outfit. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
