My DD was the 3rd and rebate credited on the 14th with BG, so its not a fixed amount of time.
  • STILL nothing here... OP, any sign of yours yet?
  • Same with SSE, 9 days after DD payment made I queried with customer services who denied that a refund into customer bank account was the process promised. I had to ask for the refund to be made and was told 3-5 days for it to arrive....

The chat function people have confirmed I'm eligible, but that they have no idea why I haven't had it.

And they are still saying for me to wait 10 days, but I'm about due to pay the next DD on the 1st - is anyone else still waiting for theirs?!?

I have no idea how to get them to resolve this now

If you genuinely think there is a problem (and not just an annoying delay) then raise a formal complaint with them.

a complaint will take at least a week for a response. if theres a delay because theres a lot of things that need doing (and its the first payment of a new thing there system wasn't designed for so thats possible) then if everyone who is waiting sends in a complaint then i would have thought that would have just slowed things down even more but if you feel that strongly and dont want to wait any longer then thats really your only option. then at least you would have it logged. personally i think i would wait until the second payment was due (so 10 days after your dd) and if i hadn't seen either then id complain.

It's amazing how those with a can-do attitude and willingness to 'pitch in and work' get all the luck, isn't it?

Please consider buying some pet food and giving it to your local food bank collection or animal charity. Animals aren't to blame for the cost of living crisis.
  • Hi,
well, my DD was in BG account on 17/10, Gov discount applied 19/10 and debited same day, then was in bank account on 24/10, just takes time.
  • I am still waiting. I have raised a complaint but no response. I have now paid my November DD. Last time I rang I was told I would have it by 31 October, got that sent in a text message. Hasn’t happened. Most useless customer service I have ever encountered. They just do not care. I am now at a loss as to what to do next.

You wait it out. The energy providers are trying to sort out these issues, but they take time. They were asked to implement a process at short notice, into a system that was never designed for it, the fact that it has worked with so few issues is in many ways remarkable and that there are some issues is to be expected. The payments will all get through in the end, some will just end up being delayed.
