@fourmarks they really don’t seem to have a lot of positive reviews.
We instructed them and to be honest haven’t had any real issues but once you’ve sold the post sales support is minimal.
Fortunately we communicate directly with our buyers so don’t need PB.  You do get what you pay for.
We mostly just wanted an online listing, decent photos and we were prepared to do our own viewings

They have good advertising and a good online system, that's basically it. The "service" they provide is no better then a £200 online agent. It's just people have heard of them so use them.

You listed at a totally unrealistic price with what you thought was an ultra cheap service ......
Purple Bricks will take you to court and you will lose and end up owing a lot more than you do now.
Just to confound matters you have totally missed the gravy train and if your pricing was unrealistic before ......
Maybe consult a decent local agent who will give you an honest valuation 8n today's market, just make sure you are sat down.

And what was the unrealistic price? I can find no post with that information.

It’s not relevant, 1 viewing in 6 months speaks volumes. Abandoned public toilets sell in this country, people will literally buy up anything… for the right price.
  • Right price plus right photos, right description, right attitude.....

Amazing how many don't seem to understand this

100% this.  We actually found the agent to be very in touch with the local market and actually valued the house slightly lower than some high street agents. In actual fact we went 5k over what the agent had suggested and in the end we realised we were priced a little high so reduced and the offer we had was pretty much bang on what the agent had suggested!!

The guy that came to take the photos was an absolute perfectionist and we had opted for the video.  We were able to approve our photos and description before it went live.

We did all our own viewings and prepared beforehand.  We sold within a few weeks but first buyer pulled out we then sold again within 24 hours.

I’ve seen so many houses which are priced higher and have languished on the market for months

    Read the terms and condition.

If it has not sold let them follow the procedure for no sale, no fee rather than cancel.

Strange that only 1 viewing in 6 months, does the flat have issues, was the listing price competitive compared to others in the area, are the pictures and listing description decent?
