BT End of Contract

I realise this is a stupid question, but my BT contract was for 2 years starting on 4th November 2020.  I want to move to Vodafone and they want me to say when I want my broadband to start.  If I say 4th November 2022, will I incur an early cancellation fee from BT?  I'd like it to be the 4th as Vodafone don't work on Saturdays and I don't want to wait until the 7th!

Exit fees are pro-rated, so by this point it's less than a month's worth of charges.

Your contract ends on the 7th, there is no penalty free switch window like you see in energy.

Personally I'd request the switch to be the 7th because it's a Monday, just in case of problems that are more likely to be sorted on a weekday if it extends over a couple of days.

Any extra charges from BT will be minimal and sorted out in the final bill.
