Got this email from CAA. How likely is Jet 2 to pay out , will i be blacklisted as a Jet2 customer?

Thank you for your patience with us whilst we investigated your complaint about the disruption of flight

Following our intervention,  Jet2 has reassessed the disruption of your flight and have informed us that it is of a type that means compensation is payable.

The airline has confirmed they will be contacting you to arrange payment. We have therefore closed your file as the complaint has been resolved.

EC Regulation 261/2004 specifies that the compensation shall be paid as monetary compensation or, with the signed agreement of the passenger, in travel vouchers and/or other services. If you have not been offered a choice of monetary compensation, please contact your airline again with your preference.

Please allow time for the payment to be processed. If you do not hear from the airline within 12 weeks, please contact them directly with a copy of this email.'

If they've confirmed to the CAA that they will pay out, then I would think they will.
No I don't think you'll be blacklisted just because you won.
Businesses do not have an emotional attachment to these kind of issues, just a financial one. They'll cope with losing.

Only time will tell if Jet2 will pay out but they obviously should, if they agreed this with the CAA.  You could always forward that CAA email to Jet2 (without waiting for 12 weeks!) and ask when they'll stump up, even if just to relay to them that you're aware of the agreement they reached with the CAA?

I'm not aware of airlines blacklisting customers who've exercised their legal rights to compensation, which probably would have been mentioned regularly on here if it was a recognised phenomenon....

JET 2 still let me on board, even though I took them court. Although I lost, it cost them alot of money.
Their legal team even threatened me with defamation and libel order at one point.
And I claimed compensation again, successfully, several years later.
