@PCNsuck, as I see it you have two choices.

    1) follow the tried and tested guidance here, or
    2) pay what UKCPS are asking for.

Why do you feel the need to remove anything from that template appeal?
Do you understand that that template is often recognised by the parking company and they will be aware that you are getting good guidance from this forum? That in itself may well influence the outcome.
Are you sure you have seen all the photographs they have of the incident?

Again... where did this parking event take place?

    But... it's up to you.

So I'm about to send what I wrote above, minus asking for evidence etc. And hope for the best I guess wish me luck 😭

Because the photos they sent include everything it's asking for. Including 5 or 6 photos of different angles of the vehicle. And a close up photo of the sign advising the details that you must park in the bay.

I can send the full template but surely if they have already sent the evidence, it's pointless asking again for it.

This event was at North Gate retail Park in newark, Nottinghamshire

I'll send the full template now
I appreciate the help, but can you see where I'm coming from?

To a point, but think about this. WHY did you park where you did? You did not just rock up and decide to park there for the hell of it. All the required spaces were full. Maybe because instead of actual car park management, the PPC are too busy looking out for easy targets to extort money.

Maybe where you did park is a reasonable space where anyone would park, but had not had the markings renewed, because they would rather look for easy targets..........

Perhaps the signs were so unclear/missing/difficult to read that you were not warned, because they would rather look for easy targets.........

Want to pay, just because a scam organization say you should?

I would have another go at the shop too.......further up towards the CEO as well

The pen is mightier than the sword ..... and I have many pens.

I'll send a complaints letter into their head office if that means I'll be able to get more leeway on this issue

The totem sign at an entrance to Newark Northgate Retail Park gives the name and telephone number of the retail park's managing agents...

As you will have read in the opening post of the NEWBIES thread, plan A is always a good option.

So, do I call these and complain to them? What do I do here?

You've got to understand I've never done this before. I don't know what I'm to say or do in this situation, this is completely new to me.

Even though I've read the newbies post, there's a lot of information to take in and not all of it I understand fully

That telephone number is of their Lincoln office.

It is too easy for anyone to fob off a phone call.

It lets the PPC know that you are not just going to roll over and pay; it gets you to the next level of appeal  and therefore the useless IAS appeal system.  Only 4% of appellants have their appeal upheld but it tells the judge that you tried to "narrow the issues" if it gets to a court hearing.
If it gets to a court hearing, I've got no means to pay for legal fees, nor someone to support me. (A solicitor etc)

I have a family to worry about and any thinking about excess fees are causing severe anxiety.

I don't like my odds here, and writing to them what I stated above feels like I'm asking for trouble
UKCPS haven't issued court proceedings for a number of years, I somehow don't think they're going to resurrect their court career with you. Stop bothering yourself with something that is not going to happen!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I'm on their complaints email now, I'll complain about the lack of parent and child. That I've been a patron for many years.

Is there anything useful I can add to put in my email?
