Last time was at decimalisation. Before that was 1970 when stamps of King George V, King Edward VIII and King George VI were demonetised. Since that was between 18 and 59 years after being issued - probably no rush.HonestJohn said:I don't think that is likely. Has it happened before?m1kjm said:Yes but I want to get rid of the Queen's head ones before a deadline is announced.I need to think of something new here...1 -
Penny blacks? Apparently too easy to steam off and reuse as hard to see if franked (if only they'd thought of barcodes earlier)NBLondon said:

That’s fine. There is even a box in that appears where you can tick you’ve posted the night before precisely to make the collection the next day.Moll said:i have to post a bundle saturday morning , our post goes at 7am saturdays, If i cant get there in time , are we ok to post the night before?I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. The difference in price between first and second astounds me, given than more often than not the service is the same.HonestJohn said:

Are other panellists getting mainly letters to post? I'm over half way through my second 6-month stint on the live panel with Spectos and, as yet, have had no parcels to post. I am wondering if this is only me, or whether the monitoring focus has shifted to letters. Also, I am not complaining - do not miss the parcel post box / post office trips!0
-
I've only had 1 parcel bundle to post. I've not received any parcels either1

I have posted 2 in 6 weeks back on the panel. I am having loads parcels with books delivered at least 2 parcels a week. Last week I had 2 parcels the same day with 2 books in each. I have had 3 parcels with DVDs in too. Its much easier to receive them than it is to post them though. Its a joke to for them to think the postmen do not know, I go from having maybe one or 2 letters per week and no parcels to suddenly getting a load of mail almost every day.2
