I have booked time off (a week-long cruise) from 12th July, but due to unforeseen circumstances I now need to leave home the day before (11th July).

My timetable is showing I'm due to receive a bundle on 11th July and a package on 12th July.

I'd like to reiterate my holiday arrangements with Spectos but would rather speak in person than send a message, if possible.

Has anyone ever spoken to Spectos on the phone?  TIA. x

A package due to arrive 3 days time will already be in the system. Too late to do anything..

From experience if they don’t have 3-4 weeks notice, nothing changes and parcels just land.

I had a sack that the post office tried to deliver half way through my 3 week holiday. I had given them 6 weeks notice but they still sent it. I just had it re-delivered when I got home and entered it with the delivery date unknown, I did not get any queries

Thanks for replies. I gave them 6 weeks notice of my holiday, the only change is that I'm going a day early.

I wonder if they have forgotten that I am going to be away, as they have scheduled me to send and receive during this time.

I'm confused.  I'm doing the unaddressed survey and surprisingly haven't received one of the made up items which has now moved into the overdue slot.  Previously I could just tell them it hadn't been received but now it just asks it i know when it was received (which it hasn't been).  What are others doinng (or is it just me)?

    Paddington is disappointing.
Paddington arrived yesterday.  Not disappointed as I know people who will be pleased if he delivers a birthday card.
Low value set though? A bit insulting.
    4 1st class = £4.20, 4 £2 = £8, 2 £2.20 = £4.40  so £16.60 total face value.   Which is better than the "A New Reign" at about £6.70 face value or Weather Forecasting at £12.80

Just read the email they send you and also a few comments back from here.
You have to wait until the 2nd week after it was due to report it as missing and then you only have until the Wednesday or you will lose your points.
