    Is it Royal Mail who delivered the election communications I’m unsure if it was Royal Mail or not and I was doing a unaddressed mail survey? Thanks!
    Yes, Royal Mail delivered them. I included them in my daily volumes data.

    Emma_eeh - your query doesn't quite make sense.....

    IF you are talking about the leaflets selling the virtues of Labour or Conservative etc. parties and why you should have voted for them then it doesn't matter whether they were delivered by Royal Mail or some other delivery company or individual - IF they are UNADDRESSED then they need to be counted in the Unaddressed Mail survey either way

    IF you are talking about the POLL CARDS then they have your name and address on and only have any bearing on your response when entering the data for DUE ITEMS if delivered at the same time (as Addressed Mail from RM)

    I cannot easily return the books to Spectos as I rarely go near a post office - I have to make a special trip for the one or two parcels a month I receive.  No car so cannot drop them at a charity shop either.  Will have to see if I can find a charity that collects items.

    Have you looked at olio, a sharing app where people come to collect what they want;

    Most of the books are not ones that charity shops or anyone else would want anyway, in my experience.
    There were oroginally but I think we’ve got to the situation where most of the ones left  keep circulating because no one wants them.

    My local Tesco has a charity book table so I take any there which I don't think the charity shops would want. Some other places do these too.

    If you live on a street where people walk you could always try a book box/table on the pavement for people to take if they are interested (dry days only!)

    Paddington is disappointing.
    Paddington arrived yesterday.  Not disappointed as I know people who will be pleased if he delivers a birthday card.
    I need to think of something new here...

    Low value set though? A bit insulting.
