Right to reject a car from Arnold clark

Hi, I’ve recently HP financed a car with Arnold clark I’ve had it for 3 weeks now. After 14 days I noticed the clocks wasn’t working also the range wouldn’t drop on the dash. I got it booked in for repairs but it’s still faulty. 

After looking online and researching am
I correct in thinking I can reject this car as it’s within 30 days?

Yes, you can reject it within 30 days.

Brilliant thank you for your response. Do I have to write a rejection letter to my Finance provider?

You can but be aware that motor vehicles are the exception to the rule and the merchant can reduce the refund for the use you have had out of it, if they want to... other classes of goods this can only happen after 6 months.

I put down a £250 deposit would this be refunded back? and i understand brilliant  thank you. I’ve currently had the vehicle under 30 days.

Ringing them and speaking to someone would probably be better.

Not in the case of the 30 day, short term right to reject.

Yes, if your reject you get a full refund including any deposit you've made.
