According to HP's parts surfer, the part number for the 250 sheet tray is Q3709-67901
Just phoned Express Terminals for you and they don't have the trays in stock, they're on a five day leadtime and the price is £150 ex vat (Just saw them on another website at £270 mind!!! ) so in other words, stick to the price at Dabs.Incidentally,do you have a direct link to the DABS website for the tray as I'm considering one of these printers for home
Cheers0 -
I'm sure I saw it the other night on Dabs. Starting to think I'm seeing things, either that or they didn't have many and they've gone.
All they have now are the toners and imaging unit.
Ah, just received my reply from Express Terminals, £103.64+VAT + £12 Delivery. (£133.78 if my maths are correct).0 -
So what's the verdict on the printing speed guys especially in colour?
Is it really slow?
Phoned Misco earlier and they said they had 52 of the things still in stock. Still undecided whether to go for one as most of my current colour laser printing I can do at the office but it would be useful to have one in my office at home!!

Dear NickA
I am impressed with the speed and quality. It actually has 2400DPI using interpolatation(?)
Go buy...and enjoy.

If you want the networked feature you could buy a jetdirect card (about 40-50 quid on ebay) or you could buy an external jet direct server (JetDirect EX Plus) from ebay about 10-15 quid and do the same job but need a seperate power supply.ummm...0

Can any of you who bought the printer amswer a couple of questions for me pls?
1) Is the 250 sheet tray mentioned above a replacement for a smaller built in tray, or is there no tray at all?
2) How many copies do you get from a set of toner catridges, and how much is a new set? Also, if one colour shuts down, does tis prevent printing in the others (eg cyan runs out, can you still print using the black toner)

Thanks,I placed my order today so it should be with me Friday (Chose next day delivery)
I've just bought some nice HP premium laser copy paper from Staples too just to see how the results are on this as opposed to standard paper that I've got!!
That's another printer to add to my collection now:
HP Laserjet 4
HP Photosmart P100 (6x4 printer)
HP Photosmart 7550 (With built-in lcd screen)
Canon Pixma IP5000
Think it could be time to sell the Laserjet 4 me thinks!!
Anyone else done any prints using some nice paper (I don't expect fantastic results from it as I have my 'backup arsenal' of printers for photos!!)0 -

Dunno about the first question yet (Will do when my printer arrives) but in answer to your second question - the supplied toners are full ones (Sometimes inkjets ship with part filled cartridges) and each colour will print 2000 copies (And that's a hell of a lot of prints for somebody using the printer at home!!!)
For replacements, they are around £40-£45 for the 2000 sheet toners or you can get 6000 sheet toners for £60-£65
Good luck0 -
