Many thanks

    Yes it is limited to six withdrawals per year. (I’m fairly sure about this because I have a version of this account presently.) At each anniversary of when the account became a Limited Access Saver you get a further six withdrawals for the following year. My version of this account was originally a Double Access Saver and became a Limited Access Saver in March 2021 if I remember correctly.
  • Sorry for the late thank you. So much to keep track of at the moment.

    Many thanks

    In case anyone missed it.... the interest rate on this NLA account increased to 2.85% today, which means it now beats some of the other former top-of-the-table accounts such as Santander's eSaver Limited Edition (Issue 1) @2.75%.
  • Thanks just spotted this today myself in my HL account.

    Cheers

    And for those who haven't got the NLA one, the latest version also pays 2.85%:

    I'm just closing an old ISA I have with Coventry building society.  The experience has not been a good one.

    This account was opened about 7 years ago.  I did not pay much attention to it.  They had moved it to a new ISA with a penalty notice on withdrawals.  So when I came to close it they are "stealing" about a third of this year's interest (which is at a rate under 1% anyway).  I would have hoped a building society would have been more ethical, but they're using the same sharp practices as private companies.

    Along with a queue of 92 to get through on the phone, not an organisation I will be doing business with again

    Given the terms shown by Coventry state;

    Presumably you ignored them when they wrote to you giving you your maturity options of the fixed ISA?
    Whilst you've not got a great rate you have that rate because you did nothing. You can hardly blame Coventry BS for doing exactly what they told you they would do when you did nothing..

    I think it's also available for those who have got the NLA one. I now have both giving me effectively a 10 access account.

    Cheers for that I was just going to ask that very question.

    Thanks

    I accept I was apathetic about the account.  Does that entitle Coventry BS to rip people off?.  I know its usual practice. That doesn't make it morally right
