Landline out of Router

I see for new deals, the phone now needs to be connected into the back of the router, for example Virgin and BT (digital voice) are doing this. Does anyone know if vodafone are doing it ? or any others ? thanks. These don't work in a power cut.

Looks like Vodafone have gone digital voice now.

Interestingly the minimum guarantee speed has dropped by quite a bit (10M).
I assume because the digital needs to carry the voice!
