being bombarded with emails/letters from Allegiant-finance

I am wondering if anyone from the forum can give me a bit of advice please?
My sister had clicked on a facebook link from a company called Allegiant-Finance - they could check if you could put in a complaint/claim to the Financal Ombudsman if you think you was mis-sold PPI etc from Morses Club incorporating Shopacheck. She answered a few questions and her details and pressed send. She hadn't heard back for a while, so actually forgot about it. She recently received email from this group Allegiant-finance stating that theyreferred her Morses Club incorporating Shopacheck Claim to the Ombudsman and have received an offer on her behalf of £7xx.xx and a breakdown of outstanding balance, HMRC tax and there fee of 36% £264.39.
She replied to the email that she was not accepting any offer. Please stop going ahead with the claim. She is now being sent almost daily emails from this company stating she owes this fee and a letter through the door too. She has replied several times that she wants them to stop going ahead with claim But the emails keep coming. We have tried ringing CS but have been put on hold that long they hung up. Can anybody advise what to do next please?
Thank you in advance

That is the unfortunate problem with adds on Facebook, by clicking the link, and entering her details, she gave them permission to act on her behalf, and not just with this claim, any future claim or tax refund she may be a party too as well.

It`s all in the small print no one ever reads.

You/she, need to look up their terms and conditions, and send a letter of cancelation of permission to act on her behalf.

Never, ever click on financial/claims adds on social media, hook, line and sinker is the phrase that fits.

She will be liable for the fee, she may as well accept the settlement, pay the fee, and learn a very valuable lesson in the process.

There terms are here, I suggest she reads them -

Terms of Engagement - Unaffordable Lending Claims - Allegiant Finance Services | Allegiant Finance Services Ltd.

Thank you so much for this information. I bet she is not the only one unaware of this! Your advice also makes sense too. If she gonna be charged fee, might as well continue.

Happens all the time, she was actually lucky it was a legitimate (and I use that word very loosely here) claims management firm.

It could just have easily been a scammer.
