Hive thermostat - which better wall mounted or able to move around

You don't need a back plate for a hive to move it around. Just take it off the wall and put in another room on top of a table, shelf or chest of drawers. I used to have in precious home and would take it around with me, making sure the office or the living room was at 19C when I was there. 18C for bedroom.
