Search results appear strange

I'm trying to search to see if anyone else is having trouble with Facebook not responding correctly to clicks, bringing up incorrect pages when I do so, not responding to clicking on the "x" to close a photo, that kind of thing. I opened the "Techie Stuff" forum, then clicked on the magnifying glass, up pops a box with "Search Techie Stuff" ghosted in the background, I type in Facebook and click to search. 

The first result is from Consumer Rights, the next is from Competitions Time - Game over, the third one is actually from the forum I'm trying to search in.

How do I limit the search to that single forum, as I expected the search window to do?

There is a known issue with the board-specific search which we have been exploring with our software providers.

If you click this link it should take you to a search results page for the word 'Facebook' filtered to show results only from the 'Techie Stuff' board.

Thanks, that worked. Seems like no-one else is having the same problem, I'll have a dig around elsewhere.

The Board specific search box has not worked since the new forum started,
To search on a specific board you need to put in your search term (to any search box) and click search
On the next page click on Discussions, this brings up some extra filters on the right hand side of the page including one called Category. (By category it means Board/sub-board). If you enter the Board you want in that box, deselect Polls & Ideas at the bottom of the page, then click Filter, your search results will  then be for the Board you require.

If your search terms are for more than one word then put them in quotes to return only posts that include ALL of the words required. Without quotes it will return posts for each word individually.

At the top of the results list you can click on Best Match and then select Newest to get the results in order of newest first, which can be useful.
