Buying Insurance Online

This has happened on the previous 2 occasions I have tried to buy insurance as well.
Went to buy Home Insurance using my Mastercard credit card, sorry problem with payment.
Went and used my debit card from same issuing bank, transaction went through with no issue.
Card is fine, used it the next day with no issue.
Am I too world weary and cynical or is this a way companies can save money by paying less fees on processing debit card payments?
Off to Aldil now to get some more tin foil for a new hat.
May you find your sister soon Helli.
Sleep well.
Sleep well.

Given the volume of business they do the percentage they pay is tiny, on an average policy probably under £2... that compares to paying confused.com £60 if you got your quote there, or £20 if you clicked on an advert on google after searching for "cheap insurance"
