Persimmon New homes

I bought a new built from Persimmon almost 2 years now. I sent them the defect list but not much they have done regardless I have kept chasing them. Even if I am lucky enough to get handyman come to my house, they just create more damages, therefore the defects list keep growing and growing. The handy man came and spilled oily chemical over my house and my son almost lost his life. (I have already warned him my son has severe allergy) I have made complaint to the top management but he does not seem to care. When I asked them to re-recify the damages their handyman made, they just ignore me.
Almost 2 years now, they still do not sort out the defects, what can I do ?

If it is true you should have immediately initiated a personal injury claim on your son's behalf.1 -
You should get a 10 year warrenty, the first two years covers minor things directly with Persimmon, the following 8 years is only for more structural issues. So you need to get the complaint in ASAP.
Is the ten year warrenty you have with NHBC or someone else?
If it is NHBC contact them and they will send an inspector round, they will rule on what action needs to be taken. If the builder doesn't do it within the deadline you can go back to NHBC and they can assist getting it done.

If you are getting nowhere with Persimmon your next move needs to be speaking to a solicitor. Do you have legal protection on your home insurance?

I don't think there is any need to use a solicitor yet, assuming they have the standard NHBC warrenty then NHBC will step in for free to try and resolve the issues, as detailed here

They need to do this before the two year point though!0
