Medical Insurance - Hazardous activities

Hi, I want to purchase travel insurance for my son who leaves this weekend for a 2 week tour of about 8/10 countries in Central Europe.
He will be driving a Campervan and have 4 of his friends with him.
I want to make sure the policy will cover any medical expenses which are a result of a road traffic accident in the Campervan.
Any suggestions would be most welcome.
Many thanks, Derek

If he is old enough to drive like this he is old enough to arrange insurance.
I suggest that you lock up his passport and keys until he produces satisfactory documentation.

Any reason why you think an RTA wouldnt be covered under standard travel insurance? Given he will be in europe he will need to take his GHIC/EHIC card and use state facilities with it where appropriate if those countries are part of the scheme.
Most insurances do have certain exclusions, like whilst under the influence but presumably he wont be drink driving0 -
Driving isn't classed as Hazardous Activity so any standard policy covering Europe should suffice.
