    If you look at the image I posted you will see that option is not there! 
    It used to be but it isnt now...
    I got an email reply but they are asking me to decide what I want the payment to be 

  • Well it is there for me on my IPhone; IPad and on my computer (both in Safari and in Chrome web browsers). I accept that it may not be there on Android devices or on a PC. It could be that Octopus has different rules for different customers: my Octopus account is always in credit and I play ‘tunes’ on the DD adjuster to ensure that there is enough credit to pay in full the following month’s energy charges.

    Octopus keeps coming up with a recommended payment but they have yet to cry foul when I put my monthly DD payment down to £1.

    As I have said  - the option disappeared very recently. It's not an I.T./device/browser issue - it's an Octopus issue but thanks for looking :) . They have obviously removed the option from my account.  It was there - now it's not. Switching back to SVT from the Loyalty Fixed seems to have mucked things up. My account cannot show me what my tariff prices are either - it just says 'opps sorry - we can't get that info right now...'

    Facility to amend DD is available on my account on my Laptop using Chrome browser, as well as iPhone using website & app. It was there when my account was in debit for a few months following Xfer from Avro.

    That's really strange but possibly only until your account is fully updated to reflect the change from Loyalty Fixed rate to  SVT. Hope you get it sorted soon.

    Click on "View My Bills"
    In the address bar, replace "bills" with "payment-details" and press enter

    Wow - ok, yes that's worked!! Thanks. 
    I couldn't get there from the navigation presented and I didn't do quite what you said (I had to use the 'account' rather than 'bills') but I got there. I have changed it. However, my main account page may take a while to catch up...
