Have you checked on land registry to see if he owns the properties because if they’re transferred they’ll mean nothing, but I’d still carry out a variation, because the transfer dates will show on the land registry restrictions and deprivation of assets comes into effect.

My MP is useless as well, so I’ve gone to the other one.

I've got my case with ICE right now for these same arrears.

Regarding backdating UC, you know they can’t as that’s the rules, a court case was won at the High Court 1 Sep 2022 and the person won so the rules should be changed.

Look it  up / it’s on Child poverty action group as well.
  • I have been told I can go down a legal route buy the womens aid group as he left me with nothing expecting me to pick up the pieces of my life. no sure what they have in mind but I have a call on thursday to see.
    What did they suggest?

Do you have a clean-break financial settlement agreed by the court in either case? if not then you can pursue a fair split of marital assets regardless of what you 'agreed' at the time.
  • Womens aid have just offered therapy. I was under the impression it would be financial aswell. I wasn't married to either party. I didn't seek legal action at the time apart from to obtain the 60k settlement.

I'm still awaiting a decision from uc. Goodness knows how long that's going to take but I have quoted that case.

Maybe he hasn’t got any of the assets you say he has, what actual evidence do you have? I doubt you have any concrete evidence otherwise the CMS would have found things out.

there’s no point dwelling on this as it will make you go insane, just move on for the sake of your child.

Why don’t you sell the house and split the proceeds 50/50, that would be much fairer
  • Hi so my disabled child is owed more than £9,000 in arrears and the CMA have refused a collection service. I’ve been to tribunal and won  , but now all the arrears are missing from my account . Has anyone else had a refuse to collect ?  Oh by the way HE WORKS for DWP
I think the only way forward is judicial review as we can’t take them to court
  • They do write ✍️ ff arrears without any correspondence
