Selling a Treadmill

Hello group!
I need some advice regarding the sale of a Treadmill.
My partner bought a Treadmill back in August without thinking of where she was going to set it up. I don't think she actually realized how much space it would take. We recently moved as well so we are still going through buying furniture and moving things around. Anyway, the point is she came to the conclusion that the Treadmill doesn't actually fit anywhere nicely enough to make the space look decent so she decided she doesn't want it anymore.
I would have normally tried to return it but it's past the 28 days return deadline.
Where would I best be able to sell something like this, given how large it is? And what would be a good price to sell for? She spent £550 on it and she never used it. Still got the box and all inserts so it's basically brand new.
Thanks for suggestions.

if it were mine is try initially selling it at £250 on Gumtree.......you might be better waiting until mid November to catch Christmas buyers. If you get £200 you'll be doing ok in my view......don't set your expectation to high.1

Facebook marketplace maybe - local interest?
You could also try ebay with 'collection only'0 -
It all depends where you live
We sold our not new but virtually unused (its computer said it had done 35 km or so) one on eBay as local collection only. The only issue was the person turned up in a BMW X4M which it didnt have a snowballs chance of fitting in (he did thankfully turn up with enough mates to lift it). Thankfully, for me at least, there was a car club van not too far from us so he rented that and came back half an hour later to collect it. We do live in central London though and so a good number of people who'll be close enough to get some competition in the auction. It will be different if you live on a remote scottish island or such.0 -
Gumtree is free.....but is best only for local. EBay fees are 14%+ unless you wait for a low fee special offer.....but you get exposure to a much larger market.
Popular at the moment is to place on EBay at a fixed price and invite offers.0 -
I thought ebay fees are now 12.8% and previously were 12.9% for ebay and paypal combined ?

Much less if listed during a reduced fees offer.1 -
