did the online app last saturday. got an immediate acceptance. received a letter on wednesday to ring them. whent through a few details, told me my credit limit. whent through my 2 balance transfer requests i had made on the app. OK'd both of them. Received my pin on Friday, card should follow within 10 days, balance transfers also within 10 days.
Then had a call on friday night, asking if i would like the payment protection - no thanks. The guy mentioned my 3 balance transfers. 3? i said, i only requested 2, so rung an 0800 number on saturday morning, apparently there was a 3rd request for a Tesco credit transfer - not had a tesco card for about 3 years i said.....their look into what has happened and will get back to me next week!!!
Overal, i am pleased with their speed and response to queries...so fat so good.

Yes, you can do any BT's you want couple of days after account is approved, ring 0800062062

To all those with no answer,

They dont always give an answer straight away. I have dealt with virgin 5 times over the lsat three weeks and got cards for my wife and the rest of my family who wanted it.

Everyone's aplication said the same thing, even those with no cards, loans and an excellent credit rating.

Just hold out, You will get your answer dont worry yourself.

I received a text this morning and an email to say I have been accepted Card and credit limit is on it's way.

Me too as I'm wanting to balance transfer from my other card that is going to have silly APR at the end of January. Fingers and toes crossed!!

Got my answer today by post. Virgin said No... Only a little gutted. Needed them to bridge a gap. Mortgage is going to bounce on 7th and I'm in a pickle. Friend said look at it as a good thing but I so wanted a clean record for when i remortgaged in May with Abbey. The first and only time it boucned was two months ago. Put physical cash on the brach machine and it was only two or three days later that the branch took the money out of their machinf and credited my account. Suffice to ay my mortgage bounced and i got charged. Got refund back but it was still a black mark on me. Working overtime just to survive. Tred of working been working forever... Suppose i fee a little lower than i am admitting.. ,
