Virgin C/Card ?

in Credit cards
I have applied for and been successful in obtaining the above C/Card with 0% interest until May 09 with a £4,500 limit.
However, when I applied I only requested transfer of the balance of one card, (due to possible low limit being given) with 0% which expires Jan 08 with £1,500 on it.
Is It possible to transfer the balance of the other card with £1,900 + interest on it, before the Virgin card actually arrives and requires activating ?

I've just applied for the Virgin card but I wasn't given an answer immediately - is this the norm? It said they would look at my application and I would hear from them between 7-10 days or I could ring them Monday to Friday to discuss.0

Yeah, I think mine took about 1 week to approve and then another 2 weeks for the card / limit to arrive. This was about 6 weeks ago.0

Did you apply over the phone or online ?
I applied online and I was accepted almost immediately, When the paperwork arrived (7 days) they gave me a limit of £4.900
UPDATE on post # 5:
My current about to expire (HSBC) 0% card was transfered on application, £1500.
My other active £1900 + interest card (TSB) was also transfered online after the virgin card arrived with no problems, they even rang me to see if I was happy with it, and if they could do anything else for me.
Sooo, with any luck I should be credit card debt free come March 09, YAY :T0 -
I applied online and it flashed up a message saying thank you for my application and for me to ring them Monday - Friday or they'd come to a decision within 7/10 days.
Got a feeling I have been rejected as I thought you got a decision straight away.0 -

Could be due to the holidays (skeleton staff) or snowed under with lots of applications for folks wanting cards to spend on for Christmas0 -
