1 year fixed rate ISA

I am planning to open a cash ISA before April and wondered what people’s views are about when to take the plunge. Is there a rate at which you are waiting to open one? Are the rates increasing as non ISA fixed rate savings products seem to be or is the ISA market less impacted by the BoE and the current rates are about as good as it is likely to get?

Your guess is as good as anyone else's how rates will develop.
Cash ISAs have lost their shine a bit in the last few years and may not be worth it, unless you are a higher/additional rate tax payer or qualify for a LISA.
This article is a few months old, so the products mentioned aren't necessarily valid any longer but the principle discussed still applies. https://blog.moneysavingexpert.com/2022/04/martin-lewis-ditch-cash-isa/
