Supermarkets can quite legally charge different prices in different branches for the same product.. It's likely that you might pay more for bananas in Sainsbury's Belgravia than Sainsbury's Ashford. It also works the other way. My granmother paid less for strawberries in London than we did in Kent, where they were grown, because of transport costs to and from the distribution centre.1
