It sounds like you're more than comfortable with making your own fund and even company choices, so perhaps skip the robo advisor - though be aware we can't give advice about what to dump/go for as that's a regulated activity. Recommendations to buy a cheap global tracker are born out of good value for money (something this forum specialises in!). Another thing that people like Pensioncraft recommend is keep the bulk of your investments in a core strategy for the long term that you stick to, and if you feel the need to do individual picks as well then reserve a small proportion as your 'fun' fund that you can play with, to stop you tinkering with the core investment.
