Hello everyone
We are currently with SSE Airtricity and since 1st October our new rate is 37.94p per unit. We are researching other providers, in light of the huge increase. However, I'm sure they're probably all similar.
Is anyone with Electric Ireland: This looks good.

Many thanks.

I was with Electric Ireland before SSE, no problems with them. SSE has a lower promotional rate but since I can't get that again I'll be switching to Electric Ireland in three weeks to get the 100 quid when my SSE deal is up

Thanks Guiriman
Have you seen this? It looks like Power NI has the best rate for Direct Debit e-bill atm, at 27.74p per unit.

I'll have to do my sums to see what the £100 Electric Ireland incentive works out over a year per kWh and do a comparison1 -

Power NI, Confusion on top of confusion...so are they increasing the unit price up to the government cap...then knocking 10%off? I also read that they are the only company in NI that the energy cap will apply to...I just renewed with SSE...but there’s a cooling off period, with them I’ll get 10% off...but if the cap doesn’t apply to them, will I be better going with power NI...if only there was a simple table showing the current standard unit price going forward...it would be easier...I think...to work it all out.No two ways about this one: Anything Free is not a Basic Right..it had to be earned...by someone, somewhere0

The article referenced by butterflymum says all company's here have to apply the cap....i just find it frustrating that the companies have not yet announced what their new capped unit prices will be yet.... Is only 2 weeks until it's supposed to active.1
