Hi, my savings are in an ISA account that pays little or no interest. I want to open another ISA account and transfer the funds. Is there a limit how much I can transfer?

no, you go to your new provider of choice, open an Isa account, then you can do an Isa transfer.

I have just tried to open a Santander account, they ask, "how much do you intend to open the account with"? It will not accept an amount above £20000.

think it asks 'do you wish to add new money', so in a transfer you don't.

Yes, that's for opening with a cash deposit so not relevant to any transfer amount.

Note that they need to receive your transfer request within 14 days or opening the account. Whether this is done online or by posting a form to them will depend on which bank or building society the ISA transfer is coming from.
