Like you I had the rejection which I appealed. They upheld my appeal and the number they gave me to call was 0800 015 7362 to go through application again.  The call took almost 45 mins but the account has been opened now, just waiting for the necessary details to come through the post so I can register for online banking.

Yes, my reward wallet started showing a couple of days later so all was sorted.
