Travel insurance - best underwriters for (annual) cover / avoiding dodgy insurance

"That's very expensive and out of my budget but worth it for the xtra perks if you need them. There's yearly policies for £20 underwritten by AXA and around £30 for others so cheaper than single policies if >2 holidays per year."£180.00 annually for two people over 70 year with worldwide cover is not expensive.I'd be interested in seeing what the AXA deal offered (past tense) for £20.At that price I can understand any negative reviews when it was time to claim. In this world you get what you pay for.

But £180 for two people in their 20s with european cover is expensiveNoodleDoodleMan said:"That's very expensive and out of my budget but worth it for the xtra perks if you need them. We know neither the OPs age nor their travel destinations, travel insurance for the young and fit is massively cheaper then older folk even if they dont have medical conditions to declare.0 -
Understood - but the reference to £20 and £30 deals doesn't seem realistic.

Not at all, assuming its a single person and european cover only there are policies quoting below £10 for budget cover for a 22 year old with no medical conditions. Even a fairly reputable insurer is only looking at £35 for a single person or £60 for a couple on their budget offering.NoodleDoodleMan said:Understood - but the reference to £20 and £30 deals doesn't seem realistic.
Make it world wide inc the USA and those sub £10 policies become about £23 inc £20m of medical expenses cover.0 -
In which case the OP should take one of these offers at such prices.0
