Morrison’s are giving customers a 5p per litre reduction on fuel if you spend £40 in the shop (not available online). It starts tomorrow and is only available for a short time.
There are some restrictions on what items are included in the offer such as petrol, lottery tickets, cafe, gift cards etc. Full details on their website.

A good offer - but my local independent is currently over 5p a litre cheaper than the big supermarkets. Before running to Morrisons - check the prices in your local area using a petrol price comparison app4

Morrisons have been more expensive for a long time. I have paid as much as 10p litre less. The idea that we all can spend £40 just like that is unfair. Might be OK for a family shop but Pensioners would struggle

Morrisons always used to be the cheapest around here, but over the last couple of months they've become more expensive. Surprisingly, even the local Esso station, which used to be one of the most expensive in the area, is cheaper than them now (I don't want to start the old argument about whether supermarket fuel is inferior to branded fuel!!!)

I've always found Morrison's diesel to slightly disagree with my car, I've not had any issues with other supermarkets' fuel.0

Always check local prices on a fuel app. Around us BP linked to M&S shop is super expensive, Gulf tends to be cheaper, Supermarkets are towards the low end but not always. Also the local clientelle tends to have an influence within different suburbs. The forecourt and retaillers are being very crafty at the moment, many hanging back from dropping prices - quick to go up, slow to come down!0

Just been down the road to Morrisons as it happens. Esso Station less then half a mile - Petrol £1.599 - Morrisons £161.7 - down one pence on yesterday - BP station other way £1.589 - Shell £1.569NOTE - You don't need to spend £40 to get money off at the others1

Around my area everywhere appears to be the same at the moment, Morrisons, Tesco and three independents all 155.9.0

chippenham 170.9
bristol 159.9

Where I live I have 2 different Morrisons. Both 12 miles away in opposite directions. Both charging £1.669 for Unleaded. My 2 closest independents are charging £1.539 and £1.5593.795 kWp Solar PV System. Capital of the Wolds0
