Hi all. A forum user is on the free bundle from rwg but can't receive messages about their allowance when texting from an ipad.
On my android they come through as a class 0 message.
Does anyone use rwg on an apple product and know how to enable class 0 messages, or how bundle balances are received by apple products?

These are normally known as Flash SMS and have been used to deliver information (eg balance) for many years. They are enabled by Default on an iPhone (may be disabled if the SIM supports disabling them in settings>mobile data>sim applications. ) most providers don’t support disabling them. The situation is different on an iPad. If it doesn’t have its own number but is linked to an iPhone then Flash SMS won’t show on the iPad only the phone. If the iPad has a SIM and the Messages app then the Flash SMS should appear. (Note if on iOS14 or lower then the message won’t appear if the screen is locked but will silently appear in the Messages app)0

Thanks for that.
We may need to find out more information. It just came up that it was an ipad so I thought it may work differently to my android.0 -
