It will probably end with a court claim (if GXS bother) but it looks better (later, in court) if you reply and set the scene that this is now harassment.

Brighton/Worthing Judges do not like ignorers.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • I'm finding the advice somewhat convoluted, at first I'm told to ignore as it won't go to court now I'm told not to ignore as it'll probably end in a court claim. I don't need this !!!!!! in my life, I did nothing wrong

Same as all cases.  Nothing is likely to happen but if you get one, don't ignore a court claim.  Ignore them (i.e. ignore the daft debt demands and laugh at those) after responding once, because a response looks better if they did later try a claim...

...that we can help you win. No biggie.

You realise I'm in your area if you need me? I go to court free of charge to assist and speak for people. That's how I know a bit about Brighton & Worthing Judges.  Nothing to worry about.

I'm the lady on Shoreham beach in this TV show:

No-one needs the likes of GXS but you certainly don't think about paying them to make them go away.  Things are changing...

  • Ok sorry I'm very stressed through all of this, I responded to GXS when I "appealed" which of course they threw out, I didn't respond to TRACE and have so far not responded to BWLegal.
Should I now respond to them with the same response I gave GXS in the first place?

Thank you for your help, I tried reading the information in the other pages but it's very overwhelming, I'm a person that needs things spelled out for me, sorry.

I'd say yes, show BW Legal your dispute evidence and tell them you won't be paying the inflated 'DRA success fee' that inflates an unfair parking charge up to £170 that the DLUHC described as 'extorting money from motorists'.  Tell them that this contact has become harassment and to stop.

They won't. But that response looks better!

If the alleged event took place on a private road then you will not have received a fine.

Please read the sticky Announcement for NEWBIES by clicking on the link at the top or bottom of this page that says Parking tickets, fines & parking.

This will get you to the the main forum page where you will find the sticky Announcements stuck to the top.

If you need further help after reading the NEWBIES, please start your own thread. In that thread, please tell us the name of the PPC, where the alleged event occurred, and what happened after you complained to the landowner and your MP.
