This claim form is from a county court  and has a "defence and counterclaim" form that I will fill in.
No, don't. Please read what we advise, which does not involve filling in paper forms.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I tried to see the thread by @Umkomaas however their account doesn't seem to exist anymore unfortunately.
OMG - have I been banned by MSE 😧?  I'm still alive and kicking señor!
Ha ha. I can see. And this is very good to hear! I must have typed your username in wrong mate.

Do you know the thread Coupon Mad was referring to regarding yourself?

Please make sure you read the second post of the Newbies/FAQ thread and the checklist in the Template defence thread with links explaining how to "fill in" and complete the AoS. You should be completing the AoS online using the MCOL website and the password provided on your claim form.

I have taken the liberty of producing the checklist as a pdf that you can print or keep handy throughout this process:

Thank you for sharing that mate. I really do appreciate it. I will get it printed off today!

This is all so invaluable and I am very grateful for all of this help.

There's no bill.  And you won't pay anything.  This is fully expected and exactly what you want because this is where you win.

The claim didn't come from Nottingham.

The claim will be discontinued after you get to your WS stage later this year (see the thread by @Umkomaas) so there will be no hearing.

Copy & adapt the defence by @Johny86 and also read the Template Defence thread for the first 12 steps including how to acknowledge the claim online, which is shown in a pictorial link.
Done the AOS and found Johny's defence now?

I'm a lady by the way, but don't mind a poster calling me 'mate'!

This is a very dissapointing comment to post. Unfortunately we missed posting the acknowledgement of claim in time (long story) and when my partner went to do it (online) today she saw that a judgement was passed three days ago. So she is now liable to pay those bas*ards a whooping £275.

I am looking at contesting the judgement but not sure if it is worth it. If anyone has any experiance of this and know what the best move is I'd be grateful for the advice.

Ultimately, this is our fault. We failed to do a simple thing and so i'll pay this for her. The main thing is she doesn't get any kind of record.

Sorry that I let everyone down given all the hekp I had received.

    Regards

Usually in these circumstances we advise that the chances of getting a set-aside are low, as it was the defendant's fault for missing the deadline. Do not miss the deadline for payment else a CCJ will be recorded on the credit file. There's normally a month to pay.

    Thank you

I'll have to pay £275 to these gits when all my partner had to do was print out a ticket or use her blue badge.  Reason it got missed was due to an upsetting personal matter and eyes were taken off the ball. I realise the court will not care. Harsh lesson learned.
