    Sorry for quoting the wrong way around. I did make use of the emergency release to open the door, which stayed locked  but only after I had drained the water off. Clothes pretty sodden but no floods thankfully. That bit at least was easy as I just had to pull it down and the door could be opened

    @outtatune It's something to do with the way your thumb points as I understand it from when my husband says it.
